Welcome

United by Purpose

In 2020, providing continued grid resilience and reliability during a time of so much uncertainty required an enormous collaborative effort from PJM, its members and other stakeholders. This culture of cooperation kept the grid reliable, safe and secure, while also allowing PJM to advance markets and infrastructure planning as well as accomplish strategic goals throughout the year.

Amid the enduring COVID-19 pandemic, top priorities quickly emerged to, first and foremost, keep the lights on for the 65 million people we serve, focus on the well-being of staff, and develop and maintain a flexible, collaborative stance for continuing long-term remote operations.

Though there were disruptions and challenges throughout the year, many initiatives remained undeterred by the pandemic, and PJM was able to rise together with its members to solve important complex issues.

Looking ahead, PJM is positioned to carry this united sense of purpose forward to pursue exciting new possibilities in the years to come.
